HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister meets with senior US officials participating in the IISS Manama Dialogue 2026

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, today met with several senior officials from the United States of America participating in the IISS Manama Dialogue 2026.

His Royal Highness affirmed the strength and depth of the longstanding bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, highlighting the continued advancement of their strategic partnership and close cooperation across various sectors, as reflected in key agreements, including the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).

His Royal Highness reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to further strengthening its strategic partnership with the United States, emphasising the importance of building on existing achievements, expanding areas of cooperation, and exploring new opportunities that advance the shared aspirations of both nations.

His Royal Highness underscored the importance of strengthening international cooperation and advancing collective efforts to reinforce regional and global security and stability, promote lasting peace, and foster shared progress and prosperity.

HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister highlighted the pivotal role of the United States, alongside allied countries, in safeguarding regional and international security and stability, and supporting sustainable development at both the regional and global levels.

During the meeting, discussions focused on ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation, the latest regional and international developments, and issues of mutual interest, including those on the agenda of the IISS Manama Dialogue 2026.

Lieutenant-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HE Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with several senior officials and delegates were also in attendance.
