His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received His Excellency Jassim Ibrahim Al-Najem, the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Bahrain conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait; His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait; and His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister of Kuwait, to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, along with their wishes for the Kingdom of Bahrain’s continued growth and prosperity.

In return, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed the greeting of His Majesty the King and his own greetings to the Amir, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, along with their wishes for Kuwait’s continued progress and prosperity.

His Royal Highness affirmed the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, underpinned by deep historic bonds.

His Royal Highness highlighted the continued commitment to deepening bilateral relations by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait.

His Royal Highness emphasised the shared commitment to developing bilateral ties and advancing them towards greater progress and prosperity for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.

His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of continuing to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait and exploring new opportunities to advance various areas of strategic partnership, in line with shared goals and aspirations.

His Royal Highness went on to wish the Ambassador success in carrying out his diplomatic duties.

During the meeting, the latest regional and international developments were also discussed, alongside issues of mutual interest.

For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and advancing cooperation towards broader horizons.

His Excellency wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
