HRH Crown Prince receives IISS Director General and CEO

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, hailed today success of Manama Dialogue which was hosted by Bahrain last December describing it as a key regional debate platform.

He was speaking as he received at Riffa Palace today Director General and Chief Executive of London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS)   Dr.John Chipman.He called to deal with regional issues with transparency and objectivity lauding Manama Dialogue, which was organized by IISS for the seventh time in Bahrain, as a vital gathering bringing together IISS regional and international experts to discuss political, defence and security issues. Dr.Chipman thanked HRH the Crown Prince for patronizing Manama Dialogue describing success of the forum as an incentive to exert more efforts in the future.He also hailed high coordination and cooperation between IISS and Bahrain pointing out the importance of opening the institute’s headquarters in Bahrain last year.

The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Court Head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa and IISS officials.
