Readout of telephone call held between HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and the Secretary of State of the United States of America

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a telephone call today from Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State of the United States of America.

His Royal Highness underscored the deep-rooted Bahrain-US strategic relations, highlighting the mutual commitment to strengthen ties and expand multisectoral collaboration.

The latest regional and international developments were discussed. His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of coordinated efforts to strengthen regional and international cooperation, safeguarding security and stability, as well as enhancing development.

Ways to broaden the Bahrain-US strategic partnership were also highlighted, in line with the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement, to enhance regional security and stability.
