On behalf of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister attends Kuwaiti Embassy reception

On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, attended the reception hosted by the Embassy of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Bahrain on Kuwait’s 65th National Day and 35th Liberation Day.

Upon arrival at the venue, the Deputy Prime Minister, accompanied by Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and senior officials, was received by Counselor Yousef Al Banwan, Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of Kuwait.

The Deputy Prime Minister conveyed the congratulations of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to His Highness Shaikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Shaikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, His Highness Shaikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait, and to the Kuwaiti people.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah affirmed that Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations represent a strong model of enduring brotherhood, rooted in shared history and a common destiny, and continue to grow stronger under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. He noted that these relations remain founded on mutual loyalty and close bonds that reflect the unity of the Gulf family.

He highlighted the positive outcomes of the recent official visit of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to the State of Kuwait, noting that it provided strong momentum to bilateral relations within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries across various fields.

The Deputy Prime Minister also underscored the role of the Bahrain–Kuwait Joint Higher Committee, whose sustained work and tangible achievements reflect the shared commitment to structured cooperation through joint initiatives and projects that serve the interests of both countries and their peoples.

For his part, Al Banwan said that the celebration of Kuwait’s National Day and Liberation Day represents a cherished national occasion that reflects the deep longstanding relations between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain. He expressed his appreciation to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his continued support in strengthening bilateral relations, and to the Deputy Prime Minister for attending the reception, wishing both countries continued security and prosperity.
